The one-year programme was, after conducting the needed assessment, supported ethnic minority women with capacity-building training to initiate projects that utilise their potential and resources to address their needs. It was in empowering women of different ethnicities to fully utilise their potential that we saw a more culturally and gender-equal future.

Co-Learning Project

From Learning to Growing Together: Building Health & Wellbeing Together Through Cultural Collaboration

To address the health and well-being needs of our ethnic minority women and empower them with the confidence to become active contributors in communities, TheM launched a two-year co-learning project in November 2023, funded by PCD.

By embracing the principles of co-learning, we aim not only to promote physical and mental health but also to enhance women's agency and empowerment. We seek to challenge traditional power relations of teaching and learning, encouraging women to make use of their potentials by get involved as active contributors rather than passive recipients.
